Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured. AIDS can also last for years or be lifelong. AIDS symptoms include weight loss, fever, fatigue, and recurrent infections.

Another problem with AIDS, is that new infection occur because people that are infected do not take the necessary precautions. Patients are not being educated enough on their responsibilities to prevent the spread of HIV, which can lead to AIDS. People do not have enough information on how to prevent themselves from getting AIDS, which is why it is spreading.
